The Connective Corridor is an innovative strip of cultural development connecting Syracuse University with downtown Syracuse:
The city of Syracuse is home to three major universities, more than 30 art and cultural venues, and shopping centers all within close distance to one another. In the coming months and years, nodes of the Connective Corridor will be stitched together and showcased with new urban landscapes, bike paths, imaginative lighting, public and interactive art, signage, and way finding systems. http://connectivecorridor.syr.edu/project-overview/
A free bus service allows any rider access to and from Syracuse University, SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, and downtown art and entertainment venues.
Our work for the Connective Corridor includes design and development of an HTML email campaign, content for which we prep, stitch together, and test each month. The email newsletter highlights cultural events, important Corridor developments, and relevant local arts news.
We also developed a Google Maps-based map of the Corridor, offering users the ability to view more details about venues along the Corridor and see bus routes on a live, scalable map. This JavaScript (Google Maps API version 3) map replaces a static graphic map – and greatly reduces cost, time, and hassle when updating inbound/outbound bus routes and details about Corridor venues of note.
